Abstract

The author analyses three volumes of the travellogue that was written by Moravian priest Josef Chmelíček (1823–1891) and was published in Brno in 1869 and 1872. It is based on his experience from the journey to France and Spain that he made with the family of Alfons Friedrich of Dietrichstein-Mensdorff Pouilly (1810–1894) in 1861. In this article the author tries to define specific character of the travellogue created by a clergyman.
